To improve accessibility, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) is retrofitting existing pedestrian overhead bridges (POBs) with lift shafts and associated commuter infrastructure, prioritizing those near public transport nodes and healthcare institutions or areas with a high number of elderly residents.
