SD Architects & Associates Pte Ltd was established in 2015, having evolved from a practice founded in 1983.
Over three decades, the company’s development and growth has been based on its strong emphasis on professional integrity and dedicated teamwork.
The practice has successfully completed a wide range of projects over the years. Its area of expertise lies in civic, residential, institutional, hospitality, industrial and healthcare projects.
Major works include design & build projects for Defence Science & Technology Agency, Land Transport Authority, Port of Singapore Authority and works on public housings for Housing & Development Board. Fire Protection Plan & architectural works for Singapore General Hospital, design of offices, schools, factories and residential houses for private clients from another component of the firm’s current works.

Mr Chan graduated from the University of S’pore in 1976 & worked with H.D.B. and P.W.D. as architect for 6 years. He was a partner with Atelier 2 Architects before starting Spatium Design Architects in 1982. He is currently the director in SDAA Pte Ltd.

Mr Kong graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1988 and worked in a Melbourne office for 3 years before returning to S’pore. He spent 3 years with DP Architects before joining SD in 1993. He became a partner in 2000. He is currently the managing director in SDAA Pte Ltd.

Mr Tai graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1996. He has been working in private architectural practice for 5 years before joining SD in 2001. He became a partner in 2011. He is currently the director in SDAA Pte Ltd.

Mdm Yong graduated in 1977 from NUS & worked with JTC for 6 years. She then worked as an architect in the private sector. She joined SD in 1983 as an architect and has been a partner since 1992. She is currently the director in SDAA Pte Ltd.

Ms Windy Harfiani graduated from the University of Indonesia in 2010 and worked with DP Architects before joining SD in 2013. She is currently the director in SDAA Pte Ltd.
