Active Garden at Gardens by the Bay

Active garden is curated for elderly and multi generation in urban park. The spatial design of the building driven by the desire to preserve the existing trees and provide a proper and safe walkway with a gentle slope as a therapeutic experience throughout the garden. By engaging in quality outdoor activities through interesting programmes in collaboration with respective agencies such as People’s Association, Health Promotion Board, Agency for Integrated Care such as dance activity, communal gardening, volunteer’s training programme, seminar / talks about dementia awareness and other flexible multi-generational play activities which can take place at flexible gathering spaces integrated with various seating spaces, this new Active Garden is aiming to increase the quality of urban landscape experience for more multi-generational user and increase public awareness on the aging population in Singapore.
